Community Trust Bank to host book signing with Neil White, author of Mississippi's 100 greatest football players of all time

OXFORD, MS – October 5, 2011

Community Trust Bank welcomes the public to a special evening with Neil White, author of Mississippi’s 100 Greatest Football Players of All Time. The book signing will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 8, at the Powerhouse Community Arts Center in Oxford, Mississippi.

White has been a newspaper editor, magazine publisher, and an advertising executive, well known for his critically acclaimed memoir, In the Sanctuary of Outcasts. In the Sanctuary of Outcasts was an Indie NEXT Great Reads Selection; a finalist in the “Books for a Better Life” Award; was one of three national finalists for the 2009 Barnes & Noble “Discover Great New Writers” Award; a finalist for the Southern Independent Booksellers Alliance “Book of the Year” award; and, in 2010, the Southeastern Library Association named White “Outstanding Author of the Year.”
