Community Trust Bank announced Matt West has joined the bank as Vice President of Business Development/ Private Banking. West will serve as an important component for business development in Ouachita Parish by using his experience and knowledge in the financial industry and marketing to develop strategies and opportunities for the bank and its customers.
A resident of West Monroe, West brings seven years of mortgage banking experience where he focused primarily on premier and private banking clientele, as well as two additional years of wealth management banking expertise, to his new position at Community Trust Bank.

West is active in Ouachita Parish, the community in which he will focus his professional efforts. He is the President-Elect of the West Monroe Civitan Club, serves on the board of directors for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Northeast Louisiana, and is a West Monroe Chamber of Commerce diplomat.

Aside from spending time with his family, West enjoys boating, fishing and is a member of North Monroe Baptist Church. A graduate of West Monroe High School, West received his Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Louisiana Tech University.
